Like many places in Flanders, the business park Centrum-Zuid in Houthalen-Helchteren is struggling with vacancy, inefficient use of space and a lack of image quality. Several studies have already been carried out, but now it is time for the next step.

Plusoffice and Endeavour started in 2020 with a trajectory to arrive via design and dialogue at concrete projects for circular transition on the business park Centrum-South in Houthalen-Helchteren. This assignment is part of 'Pilot Projects Back in Circulation'.

The main objective is to work out an approach to densify a focus zone of some 15 companies in cooperation with the companies themselves, rather than from a top-down master plan with land acquisition by the government.
